ADAPTIVE RE-USE

Adapting an existing structure for re-use provides a unique experience to apply structural engineering knowledge. It requires investigation of existing material strengths and conditions as well as the always rare chance to study existing drawings from a time in the past. Structures may or may not be suitable for proposed re-use and we take budgets into consideration when steps must be taken to bring older structures up to current building code standards.

As an appointed Engineer, we provide Texas Department of Insurance certification services for structures located in 14 designated catastrophe areas in Texas.
